Description: Diaphragms are muscles that support our legs, arms, neck and head. They are also membranes, or skins, that divide and connect the body’s resonating chambers, affecting the way we speak, breathe, dance, and our ability to engage in the present moment. Through guided explorations and improvisation we will experience the diaphragms as mediators of gravity and levity, and as gateways to different states of consciousness and creative expression.
Instructor's Bio: Tal Halevi, certified practitioner, is a dancer, choreographer and movement teacher. For the past twenty years she has explored movement born of anatomical investigation, drawing on the relationship between form and experience as a source for choreographic invention.
